Tasting notes:

The colour includes every shade of dark red showcasing a core of intense fruit.  Aromas of fruit and fresh herbs abound.  The Shiraz brings depth and mouth filling blackberry fruit while the Cabernet Sauvignon offers balance and spice.  This is all about fresh, vibrant fruit delivered with character.

Vinification:

The Cabernet and Shiraz are fermented separately with specific parcels included for their ability to offer greater complexity and character.  Time in barrels permits a softening of the wine's structure.  It also offers a complex expression of the fruit and helps the exotic notes of spice to be discovered.  

2021 vintage:

Good ground cover formed from winter rains carried the vineyards through the warm, dry spring.  Problem free flowering led to even berry development and an easy vintage.  Natural acidity was once again the gift of the cool lake breeze.  The above average yields are a blessing as the fruit is amazing.
