2023 Gipsie Jack Verdelho
This is the latest white varietal added to our Gipsie Jack range. Verdelho was originally planted in Langhorne Creek in the mid to late 1800's by Bleasdale founder, Frank Potts.
The vineyard that supplies fruit for the Gipsie Jack Verdelho is located in the heart of the Langhorne Creek wine region.
Crushed and chilled beore pressing and settling, the old vines are hand-picked and crushed oxidatively. Cool fermentation in stainless steel tank to dryness. A short maturation on light lees before botting early to maintain freshness.
This delicious fruit driven, dry white table wine is fresh, tropical in style with a slight crisp acidity. Accompanies well with salads, fresh Coorong mullet or spicy Thai for its rich texture.
